◆Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (JSPS) ◆Leader: Atsushi Ishikawa ◆Period: 2016/4-2019/3 For the upcoming Industry 4.0 based on IOT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence, it is essential to develop technologies to manipulate light/radio waves at a sophisticated level. In this project, we are studying a new class of artificial materials, referred to as “metamaterials”, and their unique optical functionalities for the application to novel light/radio waves control technologies. This project is being promoted jointly with overseas universities/research institutions and we are also contributing to our international strategy.
